Goals

The aim of this Teaching Unit is to present the essential techniques for analyzing active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and matrices.

Programme

Theoretical teaching is structured around five main themes:

  • Conference: “The toolbox for identifying, controlling and dosing finished products”.
  • Thermal analysis.
  • Granulometric analysis.
  • Spectral techniques applied to active pharmaceutical ingredients.
  • Chromatographic assay methods and initial sample preparation. The courses are reinforced by several TD sessions based on case studies.
