Goals

The aim of preparing for the Master's course is for the student to formulate a clear and relevant problem in order to develop a rigorous scientific approach to respond to the problem. In this context, particular attention will be paid to several essential aspects:

  • Contextualising the problem: situating the subject in its scientific and technological environment, identifying the associated issues and challenges.
  • Presentation of the state of the art: carrying out a critical review of the existing literature in order to identify current knowledge and the gaps that need to be filled.
  • Presentation of the scientific approach: provide a structured description of the hypotheses and experimental or analytical methods used, together with a justification of the methodological choices made.

The aim of this preparation for the placement is therefore to prepare the subject in advance and to structure the placement.
