Goals

This course's objective is to familiarise students with Geographic information systems (GIS) and help them understand and use their fundamental tools, as well as the possibilities and limits of GIS. For this, the open-source software QGIS will be used, and real data from various sources representative of the transverse nature of these tools will be analysed, with particular emphasis on the environment. This course is shared with Master SOAC (M1) and Master RisE / Water & Wind Engineering (M1).
