Goals

Throughout the course, the student engineer must carry out 3 successive projects in a company. Projects 1 and 2 should enable the student to progress from technician to engineer.

The second project will be on a larger scale than the first. Outside the design office, the student engineer will have to deal with customers, suppliers and experts. The scientific aspect will be more advanced. The student engineer will have to develop models and carry out simulations to assess the performance of the proposed solutions.

Programme

  1. Definition of the project with the company (visit 1 from the educational tutor)
  2. Carrying out the project (progress report during visit 2 by the educational tutor)
  3. Drafting of a 50-page report
  4. 20-minute oral presentation

Programme elements related to sustainable development goals

Students will work in a company on energy issues that directly or indirectly aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. As with any business activity, social responsibility issues are taken into account.
