Goals
Analysis of the impact of human activities on the environment must be taken into account when designing technical systems, for a sustainable world, and to comply with the standards and regulations that are being introduced. Corporate practices in life cycle assessment are presented by an expert in the field. The implementation of eco-design is tested in the context of design office activities.
Programme
Course on how to use LCA in the workplace, given by an expert in the field. Training in the use of OpenLCA software and the EcoInvent database. Experimentation, in a design office session, with eco-design based on a case study.

Course presenting the basics of eco-design, introduction to the concept of the life cycle, details of the stages in the life of a product, introduction to the concept of impact criteria, concrete examples using specific software.
