Goals

The objective is to enable engineering students to become familiar with the concept of "open hardware" in the field of embedded electronics, to master the digital fabrication tools in a fablab (3D printer, laser cutter, Arduino electronic systems), and to learn how to quickly create physical prototypes using a Do It Yourself (DIY) approach. This course provides the resources of a fablab to students. They can thus become familiar with the machines and the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Programme

Ce module comprend une série de cours magistraux et de séances de bureaux d'études en mode projet. Les séances seront développées autour des thématiques suivantes:

  • Fablab : définition, historique, outils
  • Conception de systèmes électroniques
  • Intro aux outils Fablab (impresssion 3D, découpe laser, fraiseuse ...)
  • Prototypage rapide : projet
