Goals

Acquire the concepts needed to understand and evaluate the phenomena governing heat exchange in the building envelope, with a view to complying with current regulations and sizing heating and air-conditioning equipment (calculating heat loss). Thermal optimization of the building, in conjunction with digital tools, with a view to reducing energy requirements while ensuring the well-being of occupants.

The challenge is to reduce a building's energy consumption while guaranteeing an acceptable level of comfort. The study aims to test constructive solutions in terms of thermal insulation and heat and cold production, in order to reduce the building's impact on the environment.
