Between January and March, students in the Energy option work in groups of 6 on a subject related to the energy sector. A minimum of 50 hours is set aside in the timetable for this group work. The subject may be chosen by the students themselves, or proposed by industry or the School's partners. The topics are varied and can involve both EI and EE students in a group. Here are a few examples of topics proposed by external partners (IFPEN - SuperGrid Institute - CNR - UMotion): Sizing of a methanization plant - Physical modeling of a heat exchanger in a power plant - Study of low-frequency electricity transmission networks - Electric utility vehicle - Deployment of renewable energies on a municipal scale.
