This course proposes to provide tools for designing a high-performance envelope and for producing energy for a more frugal habitat, but also tools for diagnosing the existing one.

Programme elements related to sustainable development goals
The challenge is to create buildings that are self-sufficient in energy and, if possible, renewable, so as to maintain the comfort of the Habitat, both in winter and, sometimes more crucially, in summer. Tools and solutions for assessing the suitability of a solution for home comfort are discussed here.
