Goals

While Housing represents nearly 40% of total energy consumption in France and contributes 25% to greenhouse gas emissions, controlling the energy performance of buildings is becoming a major issue in building a future. sustainable. This course proposes to provide tools for designing a high-performance envelope and for producing energy for a more frugal habitat, but also tools for diagnosing the existing one.

Programme elements related to sustainable development goals

The challenge is to create buildings that are self-sufficient in energy and, if possible, renewable, so as to maintain the comfort of the Habitat, both in winter and, sometimes more crucially, in summer. Tools and solutions for assessing the suitability of a solution for home comfort are discussed here.

Assessment method

Final mark = 50 % Knowledge + 50 % Know-how Knowledge = 100 % final exam + 0 % continuous assessment Know-how = 0 % final exam + 100 % continuous assessment

The final exam is a closed-book examination.
