Goals

Master the tools of vector calculation. Understand and analyze the kinematics of a system made up of one or more solids bonded by kinematics links. Possess the prerequisites necessary to approach the general mechanics module.

  • Vector calculation: base and coordinate system, vector, scalar product, projection, referential and scalar derivation, vector product
  • Kinematics of the point: trajectory, position vector, velocity vector, classic case studies
  • Torsor: definition, operations, properties
  • Kinematics of the solid: position/speed of a point of a solid, rotational speed of a solid, kinematic torsor, equiprojectivity
